Day 2
Shillong → Sohra (Cherrapunji)
Drive to Sohra via scenic viewpoints. Suggested visits include Mawkdok-Dympep Valley View Point, caves and major waterfalls such as Nohkalikai, subject to opening hours and weather. Overnight in Sohra.
Day 3
Sohra → Nongriat / waterfall circuit → Shillong
Choose a sightseeing or nature day around Sohra. Longer walks such as Nongriat require additional time and fitness; alternatively visit accessible waterfalls, caves and viewpoints before returning toward Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 4
Shillong → Mawlynnong → Dawki/Shnongpdeng
Travel toward the southern/eastern circuit. Explore Mawlynnong and continue to Dawki or Shnongpdeng for river scenery and village experiences. Overnight in the Dawki/Shnongpdeng area or Shillong depending on the plan.
Day 5
Dawki/Shillong → Jorhat
After breakfast, begin the return journey toward Jorhat. Exact travel timing depends on the chosen route, stops and road conditions.
